Our first Snowstorm of 2009


The kids were so excited to wake up to 2 inches of snow a couple weeks ago!! Here they are playing with the neighbors boys!! It was all melted by the afternoon, but we sure did have FUN!!

These pics didn't fit on the last blog update or else I can't figure out how to get them all on here together. hehe!! The big kids rode on the Veggie Tales roller coaster to prepare for the BIG one!!

Bell Ringing and Dollywood

Our family Enjoys ringing the bell every year for the Salvation Army through our Church. Here we are at the local mall for our 2 hour shift!! What a blessing to see all the happy givers.

This is my favorite picture of the boys. We are at the local Amusement park. What a great Christmas gift from P's parents!! We had a great day of sunshine and no lines. Goose rode his first roller coaster and had a big smile after the ride. We enjoyed the Christmas lights and Christmas parade at night. Our favorite ride was the 3D Polar Express motion ride!!

Updates and Christmas blessings

Below are 7 blog updates to get you through October and November for our family!! We love pictures, so I will be updating several more times in the next couple of weeks.

This is our way to keep family and friends up to date with us!! We are so excited for the next two weeks with Christmas parties at School, Winter break from School, Julie's Birthday, Christmas, Bear's 2nd birthday, and Ooma and Papa's visit.

Below is what we wrote on our Christmas card! The picture of our family is the picture from our card this year.

We were truly blessed by God with another great year. Here are 26 things we are thankful for in 2009.
Astronauts (VBS theme this year), Bear is walking, Cubscouts, Dollywood, Enactments, Four-wheeler, Gingerbread-houses, Homeschooling, Indians, Jingle-bells (piano lessons), Kilometers (P ran in a 5K), leaf-leaping, Museum, Neurologist, Old-Mill-Restaurant, P Academy, Quesadillas, Reunions, St. Maarten, Tree-house, Upward Sports, Virginia-Creeper Trail, Wii, Xylem (part of a plant, G is learning Botany this yr. in 3rd grade!) Yachting on the Lake, Zoo-babies. Phew!! To keep up to date on our family, visit us at.......................(this blog!)

More November updates

Goose, Bug, and Daddy are doing Cubscouts at home and made these birdhouses to hang in our backyard. The boys can't wait for the Spring to see baby birds.
Bear is learning to crawl up the stairs. He did all 17 of them. See his cheerleaders at the top!!
