Our First Family Camping trip

We had a great time on our first family camping trip (tent camping)! It was such beautiful weather with no rain. The mornings got a little chilly, but we just bundled up. The kids slept very well in the tent for two nights. Probably all the running around they did on the playground and nature walks. Us on the other hand a good night the first night, but the second night our air mattress deflated.
We met three family's from our hometown (friend of friends) so it made our camping experience so much better.
We enjoyed; hot dogs, hobo stew, baked potato's, eggs, bacon, hash brown's, sausage, and smore's. I highly recommend Lake Junaluska in North Carolina, for a family camping trip. The Lake is 2.5 miles around and is enjoyed by many walkers and joggers. We made it half way around and enjoyed the Folk festival, and all the beautiful cottages. There is even a retreat center, hotel, miniature golf, pool, and shuffle board.
We are excited to go camping again as a family!
